Katherine Fergusson
Associate Physiotherapist
B.Sc, M. Phty St (6467411F)
Katherine, affectionately known as Kat, first completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science before going on to complete her Master of Physiotherapy Studies at The University of Queensland in 2005. She has been a valued Physiotherapist at Bundaberg Physiotherapy Centre since 2023.
Before joining our clinic, Kat spent 17 years working with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) as a Civilian Public Servant Physiotherapist at the Lavarack Health Centre. During her time with the ADF, Kat developed extensive experience working with complex musculoskeletal and sports injuries, rehabilitation and the unique physical demands placed on Defence personnel.
Kat's contribution to physiotherapy service delivery was recognised when she was awarded a coin by the Surgeon General of the Australian Defence Force for her work in improving Physiotherapy service provision across Joint Health NQ.
When she isn't in the clinic...
Outside of work, Kat enjoys settling down with a good novel and a cup of tea. On weekends, she is often out in the community supporting her children and cheering them on in their sporting endeavours.
